What is your fantasy bird? The bird you really want to see?

Apart from the Welsh Girl, my current fantasy birds are the Dotterel, the Corncrake and the Bluethroat - all elusive in their own ways.

Previous fantasy birds have included the Golden Eagle (seen at the Mull of Kintyre), the Bearded Tit (many seen in Norfolk in last year or so) and Catherine Zeta Jones.

Come on then, which bird would really do it for you?

Have scope, will travel.

Cheers Ow - some good choices. Avocet won't be a problem. After marvelling at the Red Throated Divers on Lismore I would thoroughly recommend you get after one of those too - my current favourite bird by far!
