BirdBeards ... on the run! NORFOLK LIST 2012

Well my friends, how time flies. It doesn't seem more than a sparrow's dropping of time that the mentalists known as BirdBeards were revving up for the Big Year 2010. That is now long gone and so here we are, all set to storm off around Norfolk in our search of a list longer than your average arm. Yes, it is time for BirdBeards Norfolk List 2012!!!

It's going to be tough. BirdBeard himself is still recovering from glandular fever, which necessitated 14 weeks off work. Also, BirdBeard Jr's arrival is imminent so life is going to change forever.

Le Hatt is once more fighting against his aversion to early mornings, his Road to Damascus style recovery during 2010 now long forgotten.

Couple those things with keeping the lovely Welsh Girl and Hells Bells as happy as a girl could be when living with a BirdBeard, and you have quite a challenge.

Initial planning in The Alex saw us throw around a total of 200 birds as a dream, with 180 being a job well done. Will we get there? We don't know. Can BirdBeard avenge his Big Year  thrashing at the hands of Le Hatt? We don't know.

One thing we do know is that Birdbeards are on the run... and it's going to be one hell of a ride! READ ON TO SEE HOW WE'RE DOING...
