Birdwatching...the new Rock 'n' Roll

SPOTS OF PLENTY

Here at Birdbeards we like to share our love and our birds. Obviously we are not going to pinpoint an endangered bird's chief breeding location, but we will share with you some of the places that have produced special birds for us. So scroll down to enjoy these Spots of Plenty, and may your birding days be plentiful too.

Lots of love,

Beardo

Share our love ...and our secrets!

Tooting Common - the Little Owl Tree, just next to the cafe.

Kidwelly Sewage Works - it's amazing what these shitty pans hold. Keep a look out for Willow Warbler, Reed Bunting and Grey Wagtail especially.

The Canal Bridge, The Quay, Kidwelly - home of the elusive Welsh Water Rail!

Whittlingham - turning up all sorts this year; Great Northern Diver, Red/Black-Necked and Slavonian Grebes, Ruddy, Ring- Necked, Smew, Goosander and Scaup to name but a few.
